Integrating Spirituality & Activism to Grow Your Heart-Centered Business
In this episode of the Alt-Normal with Beth Weinstein, we explore the new paradigm of integrating spirituality with activism to grow a business that is both purposeful and profitable —shifting out of whatever closets keep us small to live and work from the power of our hearts.
On episode 19, we welcome the sage wisdom of Beth Weinstein, a spiritual business coach helping current and aspiring entrepreneurs, coaches, spiritual leaders and healers align with their purpose and grow their business so they can help more people, create consistent income, and have an online business working from anywhere on earth! She is also the founder of the “Psychedelics, Sacred Medicines, Purpose and Business” annual summit, where she hosted Rick Doblin and Paul Stamets to name a few legendary pioneers in the field.
The old paradigm of working so hard to make a good living and life is simply falling away. In its place, we examine the new story of doing what you love and living abundantly from it, with tools like psychedelics, Burning Man and Vipassana (though there are infinite more) to help us come back into alignment and find our true path forward to create this New Earth. Her own experience of “coming out of the psychedelic closet” is one example of how individual stories create the change we wish to see.
In this episode, we come away with these key takeaways:
Why it’s not enough to just be spiritual, but to integrate activism into our spiritual practice for growing an abundant heart-centered business
The importance of “coming out of the psychedelic closet” to fully integrate our transformational experiences
Reexamining the need for a “certification” to start a psychedelics integration coaching business
Envisioning the spiritual business space in 10 years
Beth’s multidimensional approach stems from her track record of having grown multiple businesses combined with heart-centered marketing strategies and neuroscience-backed methodologies. As a Buddhist seeker from early adulthood, she integrates her transformational experiences in the way she shows up as a business coach, helping her clients realize that in order to be in greatest service, we must balance both spirituality and activism (one cannot exist without the other). For her, vulnerability, transparency and compassion are at the heart of emerging leadership. When psychedelics (and the lifelong integration of these medicines) are added to the mix, all of a sudden you can access the already existing wellspring of truth, wisdom, sovereignty and infinite curiosity that lives within us all.
In the end, to grow an abundant heart-centered business, we must integrate our whole selves —spirituality and activism, along with our psychedelic experiences and the embodied integration of how we show up in those lessons to live out our purpose and service to the world.
